The best way to predict the future, is to make it

We have built KAOS from scratch since its launch in 2015 with one goal in mind: to create smart, functional and esthetic products that we need in our lives. Products with character and iconic details. And high quality.

It turns out there are many others who fancy things we create, which is extremely motivating. Customers, they call them. We call them peers and likeminded. For that is what we are: parents working to make ends meet, between whyning and dishwashing. Parents who have chaos hanging over them 24 hours. Parents who care about trends, functional solutions and having a nice home.We want to create products for ourselves and all them other parents. To make everyday lives with kids slightly better. While focusing on design.

We have always set high goals for ourselves. If things were easy, anyone could do it. To start with an advanced and technically baby changing bag as our first product wasn't easy at first try. Making the perfect baby changing bag now is easy, though. That's how we roll: pushing limits, going out of our comfort zone.

We previously told you about a very exciting collaboration with Ole Petter Wullum funded by Innovation Norway. It's going on, we have a manufacturer in Denmark working with prototyping right now.

If you can't stop thinking about it, never stop working for it

Besides the project with Ole Petter, we had another idea that we were unsure how to solve. Some are looking high and low for solutions, but we prefer to go straight to the top shelf; we found courage and invited ourselves to Permafrost in an hour meeting where we could present our idea. Permafrost, folks. Talk about competent people!

The meeting lasted three hours.

The meeting was in October. 4 months and several meetings later, Permafrost presented the very first prototype.

Seeing something you had in mind - in its full form - is powerful stuff. I cried (true - it was on the verge of ugly-cry). Because what Permafrost presented was spot on what we had in mind. And I realized that this going to be good. I feel so grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of this.

We rarely have time to pat each other on the shoulder, but what the hell, guys: 2017 is already our most exciting year so far. Besides exciting new textile products, KAOS will launch two types of furniture that you have not seen before.

We are proud to be working with such talented people, and look forward to present the results of all the hard work which is now being put down. The future looks very bright indeed.
